"Abstract Expressions" is an ongoing generative art project that explores the raw, emotional language of abstract painting through code, composition, and machine intuition. At its core, the work begins with a generative algorithm that deconstructs the canvas into a grid, layering forms using digital gestures that mimic traditional techniques—dry brush, wet paint, splatter, and bleeding washes. The outcome balances intentional structure and expressive spontaneity.

As a final step, an AI model trained by the artist joins the algorithmic framework, not only learning visual style but internalizing compositional rhythm, gesture, and emotional tone. The result is a hybrid system—artist and machine—working together through a set of shared rules and open improvisation. Each piece is a conversation between the hand of the artist, the logic of the algorithm, and the generative unpredictability of the AI.
